It's all in the details: Italian-cloth suits
A closer look at our Italian-cloth suits and what makes them so special.
We work with some of the finest mills to craft our Italian-cloth suits. And, once we've picked the right fabric for the job, it's the details that really set them apart. Everything has been considered, from the working cuffs to the length of the jacket, all the elements coming together to create premium pieces fit for the Mediterranean (and beyond). Let's dive deeper into our Italian-cloth suit offering, and why each component is so special.

The cuffs
Most suit cuffs feature decorative buttons that don’t actually function, they’re purely for style. This season, all of our Italian-cloth suits come with working cuffs. Originally designed for surgeons to easily roll up their sleeves during procedures, working cuffs are now a signature of premium tailoring, setting it apart with subtle yet distinctive craftsmanship. Try leaving one button open as a discreetly elegant detail or even turn the cuff right back as a styling trick straight out of Pitti Uomo.

The lining
The linings in our Italian-cloth suits are distinctly different from in our standard suiting. All fully lined jackets feature a mitred piano notch, a refined detail that seamlessly integrates the internal pocket design for a sleek, cohesive look. For buggy-lined suits, we’ve cut the lining straight across the back instead of in the traditional butterfly style. This subtle change adds a little more structure to the jacket while keeping it lightweight and comfortable.
All the linings of our Italian-cloth suits are crafted from a soft, sustainable viscose blend that has a beautiful drape, adding a premium finish.

The jacket length
Most modern suit jackets typically end just above the thigh. This season, we’ve cut our Italian-cloth jackets slightly longer to subtly elongate the torso and create a cleaner, more refined profile. This added length also helps balance proportions for a more polished overall appearance. The result is a look that feels elegant and slightly more formal than shorter jacket styles.
